Islamic leaders and scholars in Taraba State have called on residents, especially the Muslim community to rally behind Governor Agbu Kefas’s vision for a united and prosperous state.
The appeal was made on during a special prayer session held at the Saurara Jumma’at Mosque in Jalingo, the state capital.
Speaking at the event, Alhaji Hussaini Ismaila, Special Adviser to the governor on Muslim Religious Affairs, commended Gov. Kefas for his unwavering dedication to advancing development and fostering unity across the state.

He highlighted the administration’s focus on key sectors, including peace, security, healthcare, education, and infrastructure, urging residents to align with the governor’s agenda for progress.
“Governor Agbu Kefas remains resolute in his efforts to build a better Taraba. I encourage everyone, especially our Muslim brothers and sisters, to support his vision for a greater state,” Ismaila stated.
The gathering emphasized the strong bond between the Muslim community and the state government, showcasing a collective commitment to unity and progress.
Clerics at the prayer session noted that the event symbolized hope and collaboration, reinforcing the shared efforts driving Taraba’s development under Gov. Kefas’s leadership.
