The prime suspect of the Late Madam Maria Igbinedion, mother of Former Governor of Edo State, has been arrested.
The suspect, Dominion Okoro reports says, was arrested in Calabar Cross River State, with the help of some concern individuals.
The ugly incidence took place on the 2nd of December 2021 at Madam Maria’s resident in Benin city.
Dominion Okoro who was said to be mama’s house-help allegedly strangled her to death; after which she ransacked the house and made away with an un-indentified amount of money and some jewelry.
The suspect is said to be cooling off at the Edo State Police Command headquarters in Benin city.
However, all efforts to reach the command spokesperson, S.P Kontogs Bello over the phone for confirmation were unsuccessful.
