The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a suspected kidnap kingpin who had been on the run since 2015 after he was declared wanted.

The suspect, Mathew Edozieuno Nwankwo belong to a notorious kidnapping gang known for terrorizing the state while Governor Willie Obiano was still the governor.

Nwankwo allegedly ran away from the state when his gang members were arrested, only to show up again in the state recently, maybe with the mind that he is now at liberty to move freely in the state since the government of Obiano has ended.
