Chiamaka Nnadozie, the Super Falcons and CAF Goalkeeper of the Year, has signed with Brighton and Hove Albion Women FC.
The club announced on Friday that Nnadozie will officially join on July 1, following the conclusion of her contract with Paris FC.
Women’s head coach Dario Vidosic stated that the Nigerian goalkeeper will enhance their defensive lineup.
“She’s a skilled and commanding goalkeeper who will bring consistency and stability to our defense.
“She has competed at the highest level and gained valuable experience in major tournaments, including the Champions League.
“We believe she will add depth and motivation to an already ambitious team as we prepare for the upcoming season,” Vidosic remarked.
The 24-year-old joined Paris FC from Rivers Angels in January 2020.

During her time with the French club, she made 118 appearances, notably shining in the 2025 Coupe de France Féminine final, where she saved two penalties against Paris Saint-Germain, helping Paris FC secure the title.
From 2022 to 2025, Nnadozie played 16 matches in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
In 2024, she became the first African to be named UNFP Division 1 Féminine Goalkeeper of the Season.
That same year, she also received the D1 Arkema Best Goalkeeper and UNFP Goalkeeper of the Season awards.
While with Rivers Angels, she contributed to the team winning the Nigeria Women’s Premier League in 2019, as well as lifting the Nigeria Women’s Cup three times, and was recognized as IFFHS Africa’s Best Woman Goalkeeper in 2019.
On the international stage, she represented Nigeria at both the Under-17 and Under-20 levels before making her senior team debut in April 2018.
Since then, she has earned 55 caps for the Super Falcons.
