The reigning champions trained on Wednesday at the Stade Omnisport Ahmadu Ahidjo annex and are scheduled to hold Thursday evening’s session at the main bowl, the same venue where the Super Falcons defeated the Indomitable Lionesses 1-0 in the final of the 10th Women AFCON tournament in 2016.
Israel-based defender Sikiratu Isah is expected to link up with the squad before Thursday’s training session.
First-choice goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, experienced defender Osinachi Ohale, defender Michelle Alozie and forward Chinwendu Ihezuo are also due to arrive at the team’s Hilton Hotel camp after completing club duties on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Mexico-based wing-back Chidinma Okeke and midfielder Halimatu Ayinde are anticipated in Yaounde on Friday as the squad gradually builds to full strength ahead of the double-header against their Central African rivals.
The friendlies are expected to provide both sides with crucial match fitness and tactical cohesion as they aim to peak in Morocco next month.
