The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd) has issued a warning to Nigerians who provide support to terrorists, bandits, and other criminal organizations, urging them to stop immediately or face severe repercussions.
He delivered this message during the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 event in Abuja.
He stated that the federal government has empowered security agencies to take strong action against anyone found to be facilitating criminal activities.
Musa encouraged Nigerians to continue their support for the military and other security agencies as they strive to restore peace and stability throughout the nation.
He cautioned that individuals who assist criminals should be aware that they will be treated as criminals themselves, emphasizing that those discovered in the company of terrorists or bandits during military operations will not be exempt from consequences.
