As Nigerians are celebrating the 63rd Anniversary of Nigeria’s Independence, the founder of Solid Rock Kingdom Church Apostle Dr John Okoriko has warned Nigerians not to blame the colonial masters for the calamities that befall the nation.
Speaking in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital on Sunday during the monthly Interactive service with Journalists on the theme “God Blames Man, Man Blames Spirits over wickedness in the World. Who is Right?” Okoriko said every wickedness in the world is caused by man.
Okoriko who is the founder of Solid Rock Kingdom Church said the colonial masters had good intentions to foster unity among diverse ethnic groups but politicians hijacked the concept for their selfish ends.
He advised Nigerians to look beyond man-made systems to achieve success in all sectors of national life.
“God never created any evil, foul or unclean spirits but Jesus said the words I am speaking to you are spirits and they are life.”

Okoriko explained that man had invented a lot of evils through words and actions adding that every evil is first conceived in thoughts before action.
Okoriko who is the author of a book titled ” Every Satan Has A Human Face” urged Nigerians not to blame majority tribes or colonial masters but to think inward to promote growth and development of the nation.
He also urged Nigerians to find God’s grace to enable them to wriggle out of the present predicament.
Okoriko while answering questions from online callers maintained that no evil is perpetuated by spirit and charged leaders to be sincere in their leadership style to bring good to the people.
“When man stops doing evil, wickedness will vanish from the face of the earth”
“Human beings create wars and disaffection and ask God to take it away. How can God take away something he never created”, he said.
