Labour Party (LP) gubernatorial candidate for Delta State in the 2023 general election, Pastor Ken Pella, has promised a robust security network and employment creation if voted into office.

Pella, speaking at a stakeholders meeting of all candidates on the platform of the party in 2023 election and Peter Obi support groups held at Asaba maintained that LP is the right party to embrace.

He urged to the electorate to get registered and obtain their PVCs to enable them vote Mr. Peter Obi as president and all all labour party candidates in 2023 elections.

Pella highlighted that labour party came to provide relief to the entire citizens of the country owing to the series of predicaments that has befallen the nation in recent times.

He regretted that Nigeria that was one of the most peaceful nation’s in the world has been weighed down by serious security problems.

Pastor Ken Pella advised Nigerians not to be dettered saying all hope is not lost, as Mr. Peter Obi if voted for as president will revive the nation once again. Also at the event, Bishop Obiajulu Obi a cleric and pastor Elvis Akiah, Delta state coordinator of Peter Obi support group described the presidential candidate as a man who has a high sense of integrity that should be entrusted with power.

Also, the Labour Party has said that Mr. Peter Obi is to liberate the country from all the predicaments that has befallen it, especially insecurity.

The Labour Party stated this at the weekend at Asaba, the capital during its stakeholders meeting held with party leaders across the 25 local government area of the state in support of the presidential candidate.

Speaking at the event, the state chairman of LP, Chief Tony Ezeagwu, appreciated all the party faithful that have taken their time despite their tight schedules in ensuring that the political grouping is where it is today.

According to him: “I want to assure you that by the Grace of God we have gotten to where we are going to, there are no doubt about that, if you look at what is happening today you know that it is ordained by God. “ What we are doing today now is that everybody is contributing his/ her quota, trying to make sure we achieve what we want to achieve.”

Also at the event, the Deputy Governorship torchbearer for Labour Party, Mrs. Julie Nwabogo E. Umukoro, professor of semiotics and performance studies, University of port-Harcourt noted that LP has come to change the narratives of thinking that only a country of people will come together and take the nation for a ride.

She added that leadership is taking consciousness as a connecting thing, saying that connecting consciousness will guide governance. Pastor Elvis Akiah, Delta State coordinator of Peter Obi support group, described the Labour Party presidential candidate as a man who has a high sense of integrity that should be entrusted with power.
