A Nigerian sports administrator and entrepreneur, Godspower Odedede, is set to speak at the 3rd Career Lecture on Human Kinetics and Health Education Profession in Nigeria, organised by the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education, Ahmadu Bello University.
The event is scheduled to be held on April 14, 2026, at the Yusuf Bala Usman Hall, Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Odedede, who serves as the Chief Executive Officer of G-O(DE)3 Sports Consult Ltd, will deliver a presentation focused on career development and entrepreneurship opportunities within the sports sector.
His lecture is expected to highlight the expanding economic potential of sports, dance, recreation, and tourism in Nigeria and beyond.
He is also expected to guide students and young professionals on emerging areas within sports entrepreneurship, including sports event management, sports academies, fitness and wellness services, sports tourism, facility development, and sports equipment business ventures.
According to the organisers, the annual lecture is aimed at exposing students to practical career pathways in Human Kinetics and Health Education while bridging the gap between academic learning and industry experience.

The programme will feature other notable participants, including Hadiza Asabe Mohammed and Balarabe Garko Sani, while the session will be chaired by Mohammed Sanusi.
The Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Adamu Ahmed, is expected to serve as Chief Host, while the Special Guest of Honour will be Ahmed Abubakar Audi.
Odedede, widely recognised for his contributions to grassroots sports development and sports business promotion in Nigeria, is expected to use the platform to inspire students to explore innovative pathways in the fast-growing sports industry.
