As Delta State marks the 34th anniversary of its creation, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Emomotimi Guwor, has urged Deltans to continue to celebrate their rich heritage and diversity while working together for sustained growth.
In his goodwill message to the people, the speaker noted that much has been achieved since the state was created in 1991, but emphasized that more still needs to be done to fulfill the vision of the founding fathers.
The statement, issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nkem Nwaeke, assured that the Delta State House of Assembly under his leadership remains committed to serving the people and supporting development initiatives.
Guwor, who represents Warri South West Constituency, congratulated Deltans both at home and in the diaspora, describing the anniversary as a celebration of resilience, determination, and progress.
“To the noble sons and daughters of Delta State, I rejoice with you on this momentous occasion of our state’s 34th anniversary.
“As we mark this milestone, let us together reflect on our journey so far, acknowledging the strides we have made and the challenges we have overcome.
