The final of the 2030 men’s FIFA World Cup will take place in Spain, according to the President of the Spanish Football Federation, Rafael Louzan.
Spain, along with Portugal and Morocco, will co-host the tournament, while the first three matches will be held in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the competition.
Although Morocco has shown interest in hosting the final, Louzan stated that “Spain has demonstrated its ability to organize events over many years. It will take the lead for the 2030 World Cup, and the final will be held here.”
The Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid and Barcelona’s Nou Camp are considered the top contenders for the final match, but Louzan did not provide additional specifics.

Media outlets have reached out to FIFA, which ultimately decides the final venue, as well as the football federations of Portugal and Morocco, for their input.
Morocco aims to host the final at the Grand Stade Hassan II in Casablanca, which is expected to be completed by 2028 and will accommodate 115,000 spectators.
Spain has proposed 11 stadiums for the 2030 World Cup, while Morocco plans to use six and Portugal three.
The opening matches will be held in South America to commemorate the inaugural tournament, which took place in Uruguay in 1930, where Uruguay emerged victorious against Argentina, and Paraguay is the headquarters of CONMEBOL, the South American football confederation.
