The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) members in the South-East, have passed a vote of confidence on the National Chairman, Dr. Ahmed Ajuji and the party’s presidential candidate in 2023, Rabiu Kwankwaso as the leader of the party.
They also passed a vote of confidence on the Chairman of Board of Trustees of the party, Alhaji Buba Galadima and the members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).
The members made this known on Wednesday, during its expanded executive meeting for the South-East, held in Enugu.

Speaking after the meeting, the South-East National Vice Chairman of the NNPP, Dr. Chidi Akim, said that during the meeting, the members also affirmed Ajuji as the national chairman and Kwankwaso as the leader of the party.
Akim noted that “there is only one NNPP and there is no crisis in the party.
“We have implicit confidence in the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party led by Ajuji, and we have total confidence in his leadership.
“The Chairman of the board of trustees of our great party remains Alhaji Buba Galadima, whom we have our trust and confidence in his office as well.
“Therefore, today, we passed a vote of confidence on the national leader, the national chairman and the board of trustees chairman of our great party.”
