Spurs captain Son, along with club officials and fans, called the former manager of Tottenham a legend whose impact will always be remembered in the team’s history.
They also expressed their ongoing support for Ange Postecoglou, who was let go on Friday.
Tottenham’s captain, Son Heung-min, stated that sacked manager Ange Postecoglou is a “legend” who has significantly influenced the direction of the club.
Postecoglou, 59, was dismissed just over two weeks after leading the team to victory in the Europa League final, ending a 17-year wait for a trophy.
The Spurs finished 17th in the Premier League after losing 22 out of 38 matches.
“Gaffer. You’ve changed the direction of this club,” Son wrote on Instagram.
