The Nigerian film industry has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of Nollywood actress and producer, Allwell Ademola.
Ademola reportedly passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 43, sparking grief across the Yoruba movie sector and beyond. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the actress suffered a heart attack at her residence before she was rushed to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The heartbreaking news was first made public by fellow Nollywood actress Faithia Williams, who confirmed the loss in a brief but emotional post shared on her Instagram page. “Haaaa. This hit me so bad. Eniobanke,” she wrote, using a name closely associated with the late actress.
Actor Damola Olatunji also confirmed the development by posting a candlelight image with the caption, “Life is a mirage,” a message that quickly drew reactions from shocked fans and colleagues.
