Vice President Kashim Shettima and Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia were among the prominent figures who graced in the wedding of Samuel Akume, the son of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume.
The wedding took place in Benue State and drew numerous political leaders, government officials, and well-wishers from around the nation.
This event occurred just days after Akume celebrated his own marriage, marking a time of double joy for the Akume family.

Attendees described the ceremony as vibrant and well-attended, featuring a strong security presence and a warm welcome from the host state.
On his part the SGF, officially married Queen Zaynab Ngohemba, the former wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, on Friday.
The wedding announcement was shared on social media by Abraham Double-d Dajoh, a member of the Dajoh family.
Although the union is said to be established, the queen was formally welcomed into the Dajoh family home in Mbakor, Benue State, this December.
