Senator Shehu Sani has suggested that life insurance for athletes is the best way to combat the challenges that face athletes after they cease from active sports.

“Too man Nigerian athletes have been reported to have suffered a downturn in their finances. Therefore, making it difficult to cater for their needs after retirement,” he said.
