The senator representing Delta North, Sen. Ned Nwoko has felicitated with Christians on the celebration of Easter.
In his Easter message, the senator said that Easter was a reminder that after every difficult season, there was a promise of renewal.
In his message titled: “Easter Finding Strength in a Season of Challenge,” the lawmaker noted that across the country today, many families were feeling the weight of the times.
“My heart goes out to every household carrying these real burdens. Easter, however, reminds us that difficult moments do not define the end of the story.
“They test resolve, they demand patience, and they call for leadership that listens and acts with sincerity. As a people, we have never been strangers to challenge, yet we have always found a way forward.

“Nigeria is in a season of transition. Reforms are being made, adjustments are ongoing, and while the outcomes may not yet be fully felt across every household, there remains a responsibility on leadership and citizens alike, to stay the course, to act with empathy, and to ensure that no one is left behind.
“This season calls for more than reflection. It calls for responsibility. Responsibility to lead with fairness, to govern with conscience, and to stand together as a people,” he said.
He also said that it was a time to remain hopeful, not in empty words, but in the belief that with the right decisions and collective effort, things could and would improve.
“May this season bring renewed strength to every home, comfort to those in distress, and a steady assurance that better days lie ahead,” he prayed.
