Mohamed Salah has become the first player in Europe’s top five leagues to be directly involved in 50 goals across all competitions, amassing an impressive tally of 30 goals and 20 assists in just 38 games.

He achieved this historic milestone with a goal against Manchester City on February 23, 2023. Salah also reached 40 goal involvements in the Premier League, a feat he has accomplished in two different seasons, which further emphasizes the remarkable nature of his career.

His invaluable contributions have directly influenced Liverpool, earning the team 31 crucial points, igniting discussions about his potential candidacy for the prestigious Ballon d’Or.

As he currently competes in a vital match for Liverpool’s title aspirations, his performances have solidified his status as one of football’s elite players.

Online reactions have highlighted Salah’s exceptional form this season.
An X user @Fabrizinoromano praised him as an unstoppable force, emphasizing his impressive 40 goal contributions—a mix of 25 goals and 15 assists.

He said: “Mo Salah is absolutely on fire this season! With 40 goal contributions—25 goals and 15 assists—he’s proving why he’s the king of the Premier League. Unstoppable force, relentless drive, and pure class. Egypt’s finest is rewriting the record books”.

@ishneal mansoor pointed out that while the focus is often on Erling Haaland’s goals, Salah’s well-rounded game, including his assists, deserves recognition.

He said “what a season he’s having! People focus so much on Haaland’s goals that they overlook just how complete Salah’s game has become with those assists too.

Also, @boss7506 called for Liverpool to honor Salah with a statue, with fans expressing frustration over what they perceive as a lack of appreciation for his contributions.

He said “Liverpool should make a statue for Salah because no one else will be able to offer Liverpool what Salah has. And Salah should leave at the end of the season due to Liverpool’s lack of appreciation for him”.

One passionate supporter likened Salah’s impact to that of Thanos, stating he is an inevitable force for the club.

Another X user @ Biano Anfield said: “Mo deserves an Anfield statue at this point, the greatest sure banker, the greatest player have seen in my lifetime play for this beautiful club. Salah is inevitable like Thanos, dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same.”

Similarly, @Ghostwriter9 compared Salah’s consistency and productivity to greats like Messi and Ronaldo, asserting that he is among the top choices for a star player today.

He said “the way to assess greatness is who would you want to be your star player and Salah is right up there with Messi and Ronaldo, cause he’s so consistent and productive. Hazard doesn’t come close. Neymar’s peak was incredible but way too injury prone. Mbappe/Haaland is still too young.”
