Actress Rosy Meurer has denied rumours claiming that her husband, Olakunle Churchill, is physically abusing her and that their marriage is struggling.
These rumours started when Rosy took down all the pictures of Churchill from her Instagram page.
In response, she posted a message on Instagram, highlighting the importance of telling your own story instead of letting others create false stories about you.
Rosy strongly denied the abuse allegations and expressed her anger about the spread of these untrue claims.
She stated that “if you don’t speak up for yourself, others will twist your story to fit their narrative. In a world filled with gossip, you must stand up for yourself!
“I usually don’t like to respond to rumours, but I have a family and children who look up to me, and it’s important for me to share my truth. No one has the right to tell my story except me.”
Rosy added that it was amusing how some people wished for problems in her marriage, even though those same people have mothers, daughters, and sisters who could suffer from real abuse.

She emphasised that her husband would never harm her and criticized those who spread lies from the past.
Olakunle Churchill also responded to the rumors, joking that those critics would have to wait a long time before they see any divorce, implying that it wouldn’t happen anytime soon.
He mentioned that his family was too busy enjoying a vacation in Disney Paris to pay attention to the gossip surrounding them.
He wrote: “I see that I’m trending. Who started this? My family is living it up in Disney Paris right now.
“For those spreading rumors, you’ll have to wait a long time before anything changes for us. Thank you for all the attention!”
