Leader of the defunct Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Alhaji Mujaheed Asari-Dokubo has weighed in on the political crisis in Rivers State, urging President Bola Tinubu, to protect Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
In an online video, Asari -Dokubo, warned the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, and the 27 Rivers State lawmakers to perish any plot to impeach Gov. Fubara.
He pointed out that he staked his businesses, and sources of livelihood for Tinubu to become president, and would not stop telling him the truth.
Asari-Dokubo noted that if Tinubu allows Wike to push for Gov. Fubara’s impeachment, the consequences will be very dire, as neither Wike nor the 27 lawmakers will be safe in Rivers State any longer.
The former warlord urged President Tinubu to invite Wike, and Gov. Fubara, to a meeting, emphasising the sustenance of the status quo in the state.
