Rihanna has announced her third pregnancy while attending the Met Gala, one of the biggest nights in fashion, held in New York.
The 37-year-old singer showed off her baby bump with a smile on the red carpet, which featured a navy background decorated with daffodils.
Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Fenty, and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, already have two boys together.
A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, expressed his gratitude to reporters who congratulated them on the red carpet. He said, “It is time to just show the people what we were cooking up,” referring to their exciting news.
At the Met Gala, Rihanna wore a stylish wide-brimmed hat and a lovely long outfit. She was the last celebrity to arrive at this charity event for New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, which opens a new fashion exhibit each year.

Every year, celebrities wear extravagant outfits that match the event’s theme. This year’s theme was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” focusing solely on men’s fashion for the first time in many years.
A$AP Rocky, who co-hosted the event, confirmed their pregnancy news to everyone on the red carpet. He thanked everyone for their good wishes, saying, “I’m glad everybody’s happy for us because we’re definitely happy.”
The couple’s first son, RZA, was born in May 2022, and their second son, Riot, arrived in August 2023. Rihanna is known for making special announcements about her pregnancies, like when she revealed her first baby with a photoshoot in Harlem in 2022. She also announced her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl halftime show in 2023.
Rihanna isn’t the first celebrity to share baby news at the Met Gala; tennis star Serena Williams and model Karlie Kloss also revealed their pregnancies at last year’s event.
