Proceedings during the sitting also took a solemn tone as members paid tributes to departed public servants, reflecting on their contributions to national development and the growth of parliamentary governance.
In line with parliamentary tradition, the tributes resulted in an abridged plenary session.
Following the proceedings, the House adjourned plenary to Wednesday, March 11, 2026, to continue legislative business under the 10th National Assembly of Nigeria.
