The target for this category is 70 beneficiaries only.

Then there is the initiative for constituents seeking to expand an existing business, and also for those with brilliant business ideas but are limited or deprived by the non-availability of start-up capital.

“Those already in business are to submit a detailed business expansion plan stating what they lack, how the lack has negatively affected their businesses, and the impact the empowerment would have on their business if chosen.

“Proof of business existence, business location and address, for those who seek to start up new businesses, they are to provide a detailed business plan, evidence of efforts made in the past, and proof of counterpart funds, they should also be prepared to defend their business proposals.

“Arising from the above, interested constituents should send their business proposals to ujafamilyfoundation@gmail.com, while stating the category they are applying for as the subject.

“Submission of business proposals for all categories will end by 4pm on Wednesday, 19th March, 2025 and late submission will not be accepted.

“We believe so much in the mustard seed principle, which entails starting small and deliberately making efforts to grow and we are confident these programmes will greatly help our youths who are enthusiastic about becoming entrepreneurs to become better positioned and profitably engaged to pursue it,” the lawmaker said.
