The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has released Samuel Ojeogwu, also known as Sammy West, the brother of Nollywood star Regina Daniels.
This is contained in several videos circulating on various social media platforms with Sammy and some relatives.
Samuel was detained in Lagos last week and subsequently transferred to Abuja.

Regina Daniels previously voiced her concerns on social media, alleging that the police are siding with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, and asserting her brother’s innocence.
It would be recalled that the FCT Police Command had issued multiple invitations to Ojeogwu, which he ignored before he was eventually arrested.
The police explained that his arrest was based on a petition accusing him and three others of criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying.
Ojeogwu was subsequently arrested in Lagos with a court warrant and was taken to Abuja for further investigation.
