Real Madrid has signed Spanish defender Alvaro Carreras to a six-year contract
The 22-year-old left-back has joined the Spanish club in a deal valued at €50 million (£43 million) and has committed to a six-year contract.
Carreras was part of Real Madrid’s youth academy from 2017 to 2020 before moving to Manchester United.
He spent time on loan at Preston and Granada but did not make any appearances for Manchester United’s first team before transferring to Benfica in January 2024.
