Real Madrid are finalizing talks with Olympique Lyon over a loan move for Brazilian forward Endrick, with the deal expected to be completed ahead of the January transfer window.
The 19-year-old sensation, who joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras in the summer of 2024, has struggled for game time this season under manager Xabi Alonso, featuring for only 14 minutes in all competitions. With several European clubs expressing interest, Lyon are now leading the race to secure his services on loan until the end of the season.
Sources within the club confirmed that negotiations between the two sides are at an advanced stage and that Madrid see the temporary move as crucial to Endrick’s development. The young forward scored seven goals in his debut season but has since slipped down the pecking order amid fierce competition for attacking spots at the Bernabéu.

Endrick, who has 14 international caps for Brazil, is reportedly eager to gain consistent playing time to boost his chances of returning to the national team ahead of next summer’s World Cup. Despite his limited appearances, Real Madrid remain confident in his long-term potential and believe a loan spell in Ligue 1 could reignite his form.
The move marks another chapter in Real Madrid’s strategy of nurturing young South American talents through European exposure before reintegrating them into the first team.
