Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said the overwhelming celebration of the La Liga Santander title on Saturday was worth it.
The Italian explained that it was an avenue for Madrid players and staffers to commune with the fans after some quarters objected to it that they have a pressing Champions League tie on Wednesday.
Barcelona lost to Rayo Vallecano at Camp Nou on 24 April which gave Los Blancos the point difference to win the league, despite having four league matches left on schedule.

With Real Madrid on the hot seat to upturn the result of the first leg of the Champions @League tie at the Etihad at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Ancelotti believed that the celebration of the La Liga title heralds the preparation for Wednesday’s clash against Manchester City.
Madrid’s head coach believed that building a bond with Madrid fans by celebrating the trophy majestically will go a long way to complement the team’s triumph on Wednesday.
Real Madrid lost 4-3 to Manchester City on Tuesday and host the latter on a return leg at the Santiago Bernabeu in what will be termed an explosive tie.
