The Police Service Commission (PSC) has launched a new recruitment portal as part of its strategy to decentralize the police recruitment process for 2025.
In an official statement on Friday, the commission revealed that the newly established recruitment platform will enable state officers to take on significant roles in the recruitment process.
The Ministry of Police Affairs, the Force Headquarters, and the Federal Character Commission (FCC) will also have access to the portal to promote transparency, inclusivity, and to combat corruption and favoritism.
PSC Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu (rtd.), stated that the new portal will facilitate the recruitment of PSC personnel and all types of police officers, with state desk officers being the main stakeholders.
