National President of the Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club, Abayomi Ogunjimi, has passionately appealed to the football community to rally behind the newly appointed Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle.
Ogunjimi emphasised that the ultimate goal is to secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup and to emerge victorious at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
“We must put aside our differences and unite behind coach Eric Chelle and the Super Eagles.
“Qualifying for the World Cup and winning the Africa Cup of Nations are our top priorities, and we must work together to achieve these objectives,” Ogunjimi said.
He expressed confidence in Chelle’s ability to lead the Super Eagles to success, but stressed that the team needs the support of all stakeholders to realise their potentials.

“I am calling on all Nigerian football fans, the Nigeria Football Federation, sponsors, and well-wishers to throw their weight behind coach Chelle and the Super Eagles.
“Together, we can achieve greatness and bring glory to our beloved country,” Ogunjimi added.
With the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on the menu, the supporters’ club president appeal is a timely reminder of the importance of unity and support for the Super Eagles as they embark on their quest for success.
Ogunjimi’s plea for unity and support is not unconnected to Chelle’s success.
