Controversial singer Portable has ignited a firestorm on Instagram with a fierce verbal attack on Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, following her recent praise for single mothers.

The controversy started when Iyabo Ojo, affectionately known as Queen Mother by her fans, made statements highlighting the success of single mothers despite societal challenges.

While many celebrated her message as empowering and supportive, Portable clearly disagreed.

In a viral tirade that has circulated widely, the singer harshly condemned the actress, labeling her comments as misleading and a “bad example” for young women.

“Which advice do you want to give to young women getting married? That they should have children with different men? One child with one man, three children with three different men?” he questioned.

He further asserted that married women are faring better than single mothers, claiming that men often exploit single mothers financially.

According to him, such narratives promote unhealthy family dynamics and convey the wrong message to children who are preparing for marriage.

Portable’s comments, expressed in straightforward language and bold assertions, quickly sparked outrage online.

Responses have been sharply divided; while some agreed with his concerns about the potential negative influence on the younger generation, many others criticized the singer’s remarks as disrespectful and deeply insensitive.
