American reality star Porsha Williams has publicly introduced her new girlfriend, Patrice McKinney, following the conclusion of her divorce from Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia.
The 44-year-old star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta celebrated McKinney’s birthday on Instagram with a heartfelt message, referring to her as “The Happiest Birthday swaythepro” and expressing excitement for their weekend plans. Williams posted pictures of the two of them hugging in front of a festive Christmas display, along with videos of them dancing at a club.
This is Williams’ first public relationship since her divorce from Guobadia in June, which occurred 15 months after their wedding. Earlier in October, she mentioned at Culture Con that she was dating both a man and a woman, stating that she had “narrowed it down to them both” and that neither exhibited the narcissistic traits she had experienced in previous relationships.

Williams characterized her new romantic interests, including McKinney, as “challenging” in a positive way, noting that they ask questions, establish boundaries, and prevent her from dominating the relationship. She has been working with her therapist to be more open, realizing that to achieve a different kind of relationship, she must approach love in a new way.
After her divorce, Williams told PEOPLE that she intended to remain single until she felt complete again and even considered the possibility of dating a woman as part of her healing process. Now, she seems ready and excited to embark on this new chapter.
