The Adamawa State Police Command yesterday paraded a 58 years old woman who was alleged to have gruesomely murdered her husband’s mistress.
Paraded with her, are thirty eight other suspects who the command said were arrested for various offences ranging from thefts to vandals among others.
The female suspected murderer was alleged to have hurriedly ushered her husband’s mistress to the world beyond when she caught both of them in the act.
The suspect, Hajaratu Sini, whom The Trumpet learnt hailed from Wumbirmi Tilli village Michika local government council, instead of reporting her husband’s infidelity to the authorities, was alleged to have taken the law into her hands.

The incident which occurred last month was said to have been igniting dust among the deceased family members and those of the suspect.
Speaking, the state police Commissioner, S.K Akande, said the suspect would be arraigned before the court as soon as investigation is completed.
The other suspects whom the Commissioner said their crimes ranged from alleged killing, kidnapping and armed robbery, to mention but just a few, he said will as well be made to appear before the court as soon as they come through with the investigations.
Rather than taking law into their hands, he beckoned the public to always endeavour to channel their grievances to the appropriate authorities for justice.
He also admonished the people of the state to always strive hard to make available to the command and other security operatives, genuine information that would lead to the flushing of hoodlums from the nooks and crannies of the state.
Hajaratu and her husband were said to have been living as husband and wife for the past forty years before the ill-fated incident that compelled her to snuff out the life of her husband’s secret lover.
