Delta State Police Command has said its operatives are currently on the trail of the prime suspect in the murder case of Nollywood actor, Emma Buchi.
Buchi was said to have been murdered in his apartment in Asaba, the state capital, by the prime suspect, a middle aged man that is now at large. Sources said his decomposing corpse was discovered last Friday in one of the rooms in his apartment at Jesus Save area in Asaba.
Confirming the development, the Public Relations Officer(PRO) of the Command, DSP Bright Edafe, said investigation has since commenced.

Edafe said operatives visited the scene and evacuated the decomposing corpse. He said the fleeing suspect is the Personal Assistant to the deceased actor.
“But we cannot presume him guilty until proven so. If the family says they suspect the PA, then we will do our investigation. We are on his trail because he is on the run,” Edafe said.
Edafe clarified that no arrest has been made in connection to the incident.
