The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has denied the arrest of suspects linked to real estate fraud involving Luxury Prime Real Estate Nigeria Limited.
Spokesperson of the command, Josephine Adeh, said she has no knowledge of the case and insisted the police did not arrest anyone.
She made the clarification following reports in the media on Sunday that some suspects involved in the estate scam had been arrested.
“I don’t have any knowledge of what you are talking about. We don’t involve ourselves in that kind of case, and the police did not arrest anyone,” Adeh said.
Reports had circulated that police officers had stormed the estate firm’s office at No. 2 Potiskum Street, Area 1, Garki, Abuja, following multiple petitions by victims who accused the company of selling non-existent houses using forged land documents.

It was reported that two staff, Kennedy Ogoina and Elizabeth Onah, had been arrested, while other senior officials, including Emmanuel (chief operating officer), Ikechukwu Otutubuike (executive director), and Winner Ignatius (sales executive), were declared wanted over fraud, conspiracy, and breach of trust.
At the centre of the allegations is a so-called Lux de Ville Estate project in Kaura District, Abuja, where buyers were promised 3-bedroom terrace duplexes with boys’ quarters on a 2,600sqm parcel of land.
Luxury Prime reportedly assured clients that construction would begin in March 2025 and end by December 2025.
But months later, not a single block had been laid.
Meanwhile, the Abuja-based company insists it refunded a client’s ₦80million and added ₦4million compensation after a housing deal collapsed.
