Police Corporal Juliet Chukwu has won the Bantamweight championship title in an exciting exhibition of ability and tenacity in the famous extreme fighting championship in Johannesburg, South Africa.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi stated that the success demonstrates Nigerian athletes’ growing prowess on the global arena and reinforces the force’s dedication to excellence in all sports.
He reiterated the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun dedication to guaranteeing police excellence in athletics, especially in the quickly developing field of mixed martial arts .
Adejobi further stated that the Egbetokun expressed continued support for Corporal Chukwu and all police athletes on their journey to greatness, adding that the force will keep on aiming to achieve more honours in several other areas.
