A notorious gang leader, identified as Abubakar Idris, popularly known as Nishi and two others have been arrested by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command over the murder of Ibrahim Danfulani.
Spokesperson for the command, Josephine Adeh, in a statement on Monday, identified the other suspects arrested as Buhari Saidu and Musa Suleiman.
Josephine explained that the incident happened on November 27, 2024, and was reportedly fueled by Nishi’s anger over Ibrahim’s intentions to marry a woman in whom the gang leader had made substantial financial investments.
She affirmed that investigations revealed that the trio, armed with knives, ambushed Ibrahim and viciously attacked him, resulting in his death.
Also, the police added that the gang stole 18 cows belonging to the deceased victim as compensation for Nishi’s perceived fianacial losses.
