Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command on Monday arrested Nnamdi Kanu’s lead counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, alongside Prince Emanuel and several others during the #ReleaseNnamdiKanu protest in Abuja.
The arrested individuals were taken to the FCT Command Criminal Investigation Department (CID), located at No. 1 Zaria Street, Garki 2, Abuja. Among those detained are activists identified as Fine Boy and other supporters who had gathered to demand Kanu’s release.
Police officers reportedly moved in shortly after protesters and passersby were dispersed with tear gas around the Transcorp area, the planned convergence point for the demonstration.

As of the time of filing this report, Ejimakor and others remain in police custody at the FCT Command CID.
