The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested three suspects for vandalizing, and stealing electrical cables in Bororo Village, Michika Local Government Area of the state.
According to a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, Suleiman Nguroje, a surveillance team from the Michika Divisional Police Headquarters, apprehended the suspects during a routine patrol on March 9, 2025.
The individuals arrested as identified in the release, are Emmanuel John, Habila Kwaji, and Mohammed Garba.
The command announced that the suspects who were all male, were caught in possession of stolen electrical power cables.
During a preliminary investigation, they were also alleged to have confessed to the crim, and are currently in custody as further inquiries continue.

While commending his men who were involved in the arrests, the state Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, warned against the vandalism of public infrastructure in the state.
He further urged residents to remain vigilant, and report any suspicious activities to law- enforcement authorities.
“The Adamawa State Police Command remains committed to protecting public property and ensuring that perpetrators of such crimes face justice,” Morris stated.
The suspects, according to the statement, will be prosecuted upon the completion of the investigation.
