Popular TikTok streamer Peller has addressed criticism over his education, saying he still intends to return to school despite the backlash he has faced online.

Speaking during a Ticktock live session, Peller revealed that he gained admission into a university and paid more than ₦2 million in fees, but later stopped attending after the school allegedly failed to keep an agreement concerning his online streaming activities.

According to him, the institution initially agreed that he could stream while attending lectures, but the arrangement reportedly changed after payment.

“The university I wanted to attend deceived me that I would be streaming my classes, but they didn’t allow me stream, so I stopped going,” he said.

Peller also claimed he paid more than other students at the institution, adding that education remains part of his future plans.

“My woman is a graduate, and my future child will also be a graduate. We are all going to be graduates. Time is not late for me to go back to school,” he stated.

His comments have triggered mixed reactions online, with some supporting his decision to continue his education while others questioned his claims.

The controversy comes amid the ongoing debate over education and the rise of online fame, following rapper Ycee’s criticism of what he described as “Peller culture” and the celebration of internet popularity over academic achievement.
