Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has publicly addressed the ongoing conflict with actor Taye Arimoro by sharing her account of the events through a series of Instagram stories.
In her posts, Peggy accused Taye of physically attacking two crew members during a film shoot.
She explained that the incident occurred after the crew asked him to finish two quick scenes so filming could end for the night.
She stated that “Taye, you beat up two crew members simply because you felt they had no voice, no social media presence, no one to speak for them.
“They were only begging you to please complete two short scenes so we could wrap the night. Moments later, you went live to record their reaction leaving out the part where the violence began.”

Peggy further explained that Taye arrived on set around noon that day and left abruptly when filming stretched into the night.
She mentioned that everything was fine until she asked him to quickly shoot one more scene before he recorded his behind-the-scenes clip.
“You reacted sharply when I tried to talk to you, so I decided to give you space. Later, when the Production Manager approached you to request more time, you became physical with him.
“You punched the production manager three times, and he was on the floor before the driver came out.” She stated.
Peggy added that when she intervened, the situation had already worsened.
She claimed Taye drove off while she was still by the car, and her driver was later found bleeding from the ear after allegedly being struck multiple times by the actor.
The actress concluded that she shared her story not out of anger but to “set the record straight.”
