- As party discusses presidential ticket, election timetable
By Joshua Omoloye
Sponsored protesters are allegedly planning to storm the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national secretariat as the party hold its 95th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting tomorrow.
A source told The Trumpet that one of the PDP governors from the South South region is bankrolling the protests.
It was gathered that logistics including money, vehicles, banners and placards have been provided by the governor while his loyalists are busy mobilizing protesters within and suburbs of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
However, The Trumpet learnt that efforts are being made to rein in the governor to call off “his boys” from the planned protest.
