The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has described the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration under Governor Monday Okpebholo as lacking direction.
The opposition party made the charge through its Publicity Secretary, Barrister Dan Osa-Ogbegie, while addressing the press on Tuesday afternoon.
“Edo is in a dangerous season of governance by propaganda and incompetence under the APC.
“The Okpebholo-led administration lacks direction. The government has stalled governance, and erased progress made by the Obaseki-led administration in land administration and reforms, civil service reforms, urban renewal projects, and the drive to open Edo State to more private investors to spur economic growth and progress.

According to the PDP, “the mandate stolen from the people in 2024 remains a moral wound, but the PDP will focus on rebuilding trust and preparing for 2027.”
Going further, the PDP stressed: “Our responsibility as Edo people is clear, to rescue truth from propaganda, competence from mediocrity, and hope from the ashes of bad governance. Together with the media, we will do just that.”P
