The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, has reacted to the interview by the immediate past Head of Service of Rivers State, Dr. George Nwaeke, where he alleged among other things that Governor Siminalayi Fubara is rooting for Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State to become president
Nwaeke also alleged that Gov. Fubara is linked to the attacks on oil facilities as well as the attack on the state House of Assembly in 2023.
In a press conference Saturday in Port Harcourt, the PDP while dismissing the allegations by Nwaeke, described him as a “Judas Iscariot” who betrayed his master.
“Dr. George Nwaeke is a compromised fellow, who has decided like Judas Iscariot to betray his master with blood dollar.
“Like Judas, he will regret his action and end up committing suicide. The dollar he took will be used to build an orphanage in his hometown, Omuma,” the party stated.

PDP called on President Bola Tinubu to see the desperation of his FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike and disregard all the bogus claims made by Nwaeke.
According to the party, the script was written by Nyesom Wike, and given to George Nwaeke to read all in a bid to make the president lose confidence in Governor Siminalaiyi Fubara.
The party also called on Gov. Fubara and his team, to continue to remain calm and maintain peace in the state.
“The governor should equally find a place in his heart to forgive George and all who conspired against you, God will at his own time pay each man according to the work of his hands.
“To Rivers people and indeed, Nigerians, continue to trust the governor and have confidence in him,” the PDP added.
