The Lagos State chapter of the Ijaw Elders Forum (IEF), on Sunday described the late Afenifere leader, Pa Ayo Adebanjo as a great titan and patriot.
In a condolence message issued by the Chairman of the organization, Chief Bukazi Etete, the forum expressed condolences on the passing of Pa Ayo Adebanjo.
“We thank God for a life well spent for the good of humanity. Pa Adebanjo was a detribaliszed Nigerian and an astute politician who spent his entire life advocating for equity and justice in Nigeria.

“He was an advocate for democracy good governance and social justice.
“IEF identifies with the great ideals the Afenifere leader stood for in Nigeria. Ideals he not only espoused but collaborated with other ethnic nationalities like the Ijaw Elders forum to actualize.
“We celebrate the inspirational life the great sage lived,” IEF stated..
The forum also expressed condolences to the Adebanjo family, the great people of Yoruba nation and Nigerians at large and prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest.
