The Founder and Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners’ Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has announced that the much-anticipated dedication of the church’s 109,000-capacity ark project will now take place in 2026.
Bishop Oyedepo made this known during the church’s monthly leadership empowerment summit held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State.
He explained that the delay in the completion of the massive edifice, earlier slated for dedication in November 2025, was caused by logistics challenges rather than financial constraints.

According to him, all funds and materials required for the project’s completion have long been made available, but the scarcity of specialized construction equipment has slowed down progress.
“We are not looking for money or asking for money from anywhere. We have all that is needed, including the items for the finishing, but getting the logistics and equipment is the challenge. Getting the equipment to lift those items is hard because they are not common,” he stated.
Shedding light on the scale of the project, Oyedepo revealed that the ark features a 109,000-seat main auditorium, a 20,000-capacity children’s church, 1,200 restrooms, over 120 elevators, 200 escalators, and 22 transformers dedicated to powering the facility.
He assured members that the new 2026 dedication timeline is realistic, expressing confidence that all outstanding technical and equipment-related issues would be resolved soon.
