In a massive crackdown on internet fraudsters, military personnel from the 3 Battalion Nigerian Army Barracks at Army Estate, Effurun, have arrested over 100 suspected. The suspects were taken into custody following a coordinated raid on an alleged cybercrime training center, known as “Hustle Kingdom” (HK), believed to be a hub for training aspiring internet scammers.
Sources revealed that the HK School for Internet fraudsters, located within the highbrow Army Estate, a residential area for retired military officers and civilians, had been under surveillance for months. Acting on intelligence reports, military operatives swooped in on the premises in a well-planned operation during the early hours of Saturday, successfully rounding up the suspects.
The operation did not only target the trainees but the alleged owner of the HK school and several of his accomplices were also arrested during the raid.
