As Nigeria marks Democracy Day, former Deputy Governor of Delta State, Kingsley Otuaro, has made a call for unity, urging citizens to stay hopeful and stand behind President Bola Tinubu’s reform agenda.
In a statement in Thursday, Otuaro acknowledged the difficulties currently facing the country, but expressed optimism that the nation is gradually moving toward renewal.
“The road may be rough, but the destination is one of promise,” Otuaro remarked.
“President Tinubu’s leadership is marked by deliberate steps toward eradicating poverty, reviving our economy, and laying the groundwork for a united, thriving Nigeria.”

He appealed to Nigerians to remain prayerful and resilient, adding that “this moment demands more than criticism, it demands prayer, unity, and trust.
“Let every Deltan and Nigerian offer support and faith to the leadership steering our nation forward.”
Otuaro stressed that great nations are not built by spectators, but by committed citizens who believe in the future.
“With God’s grace and our collective strength, I believe a new dawn is within reach, one where opportunity, peace, and dignity are available to all Nigerians,” he predicted.
