Africa Magic in partnership with MultiChoice has announced that entries are now open for the 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
Executive Head of Content and Channels for West Africa at MultiChoice, Busola Tejumola, confirmed this in a statement on Monday.
She stated that the submission period opened on Monday and will close on January 31, 2025.
The award ceremony aims to celebrate exceptional talent, creativity and innovation in the African film, television and entertainment industry, highlighting the continent’s finest storytellers, performers and production professionals.
“Consequently, filmmakers, producers, production companies and creators are encouraged to submit films, made-for-television movies, or television series that were broadcast or publicly screened from December 1 to December 31, for a chance to be recognised at Africa’s most prestigious awards event.

“The awards have become a beacon of excellence, celebrating the vibrancy and diversity of African storytelling. We are excited to once again open the doors for talented creatives across the continent to showcase their remarkable work to the world,” she said.
Tejumola stated that the ceremony promised to be a fantastic celebration of African entertainment, with great creatives receiving flowers and making unforgettable memories.
She said that the event would be carried live on Africa Magic stations across the continent, bringing the beauty and glamour of the awards to millions of people.
