A middle-aged man identified as Lanre has been confirmed dead after having marathon sex with a woman at a hotel in Ondo town, Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State, on Wednesday evening.
Lanre is said to have collapsed after taking his bath after the sex romp at 9 pm.
A source told The Trumpet that after Lanre collapsed, the woman raised the alarm which attracted the manager of the hotel who later invited the police officers from the Enu-Owa Police Division to the scene.
Confirming the incident, the Ondo State Police Command said it has started an investigation into the death.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, said it was a case of sudden and unnatural death.
“It was a case of SUD (Sudden and Unnatural Death). We have commenced an investigation into the matter,” the PPRO stated.

The corpse of the man had been deposited at the morgue of the University Of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital Complex, Ondo for further investigation.
