The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State is elated over the Supreme Court judgment that upheld the victory of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the gubernatorial election held on November 16, 2024.
In a decisive ruling delivered on Wednesday, the Supreme Court affirmed Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s position as the rightful winner, solidifying the mandate given to him by the electorate.
The APC, through a formal statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Lex Kalejaye, in the state capital of Akure, characterized this judgment as a final endorsement of the will of the people, reinforcing their trust in the democratic process.
Chairman of the APC in Ondo State, Ade Adetimehin, extended his congratulations to Gov. Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Mr. Olayide Adelami, as well as to the citizens of the state who supported them throughout the electoral process.
The party’s statement highlighted the importance of this victory, emphasizing that it reflects the collective choice of the Ondo State populace.
